We are now open for business and working our normal hours. We have enhanced our health and safety policies, ensuring all work is performed at a safe distance. We are also doing our best to ensure the aircraft are sterilized prior to collection. If you have any concerns about this, please do not hesitate to ask us.

Adventurous customers!

We have been following two of our customers as they take their Archer across Europe! Derek and Marion are travelling through Romania (and some other countries along the way) and have been tracking their progress using the TrackMyTour app. This allows them to post updates and pictures from their travels. Trig avionics

Due to the recent changes in regulations and the requirements for 8.33KHz spacing some Trig radios have been out of stock for a number of months. We are pleased to say that we have just received our first delivery of new radios with more expected in the next few weeks. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and reserve your radio.

Aviation traders and hangar keepers insurance

There has been a recent incident where a maintenance company was carrying out repair work and servicing to an aircraft. The subject aircraft was involved in an incident and was damaged beyond economic repair with the maintenance company not having any insurance or liability cover. This left the owner substantially out of pocket. Please check that your maintainer carries the appropriate insurance and that your aircraft is fully covered whilst in their care.

Aircraft storage and parking

We have a limited number of permanent parking spaces available on the airfield. If you are not planning to use your aircraft for a length of time, you can now leave it with us. We will ground run it each month up to running temperature, record the tacho times and note any apparent defects to make sure everything is running smoothly for when you plan to pick it up.

Pilots' Circle

After a discussion with some of our customers, we have now started a pilots' circle. This is to try and help our pilots arrange deliveries or collection when their aircraft are in for maintenance by connecting pilots from nearby airfields.
